That is cool. Nice technique applied too.
Very nice photo and post-processing, Ken.
Thanks, John. I looked at this photo for a year before coming up with this treatment.
I tried getting a group of swans to look right through the viewfinder last weekend – and failed dismally. This has worked out very well as a composition, Ken.
I think when a swan is facing away from you he can see you better. Supposedly, they have terrific peripheral vision.
Very nice composition and tint.
It’s so beautiful Ken but it seems to me that is perhaps for a sad purpuse!
Thanks, Chantal. Yes, it was a sad occasion. Bob was a friend who recently passed away.
I send you all my thoughts Ken.
Beautiful and warm. I like it. A whole year, eh? Sometimes you just have to let the pictures marinate a bit.
Thanks, Paul. Yes, I thought I had it finished at on point but it just never seemed right. Had it in my “to post” folder on my desktop and looked at it almost every day, but I knew it wasn’t right.
Absolutely very beautiful. Great picture. And sad?
Thanks, Bente. Yes, very sad. My friend Bob passed away recently. I think he would have liked this.
Lovely processing. Delicate colours.
Very nice Ken. And it does convey a feeling of leaving. Great tribute to a friend.
