3 gulls (1 big, 2 small) against blue sky when really all I wanted was to shoot a blank sky to test for sensor dust spots when these guys flew into the frame but, hey, this isn’t so bad # 1991

I think just the opposite, John. I may retire.
I did my sensor check before the trip, and finally used the cleaning swabs I bought oh-so-long-ago. They worked very well.
Bummer about the birds and black tape . . .
I bought my camera through a local camera store and they offer free lifetime cleaning. I’ve taken advantage of this service and they do a very nice job.
I hope the tape was 3M tape. I still have some stock in that company.
Nice use of DoF to envelop the goose in his white body! Not so catchy title…. 😉

Ken, some things don’t even deserve a response…give them names and then someone will be pissed because they don’t like the names you gave them. Do your own thing young man!

I’m having difficulty naming my images lately; part of why I’ve not been posting much. Today I succumbed to Untitled.
The skill to take a good photographe is perhaps more desirable than the ability to come up with clever titles… Great shots!

This is how bad my title would have been for your first image: ‘Stern Swan Astern’. Really not good 🙂

Actually, naming your photos with whatever pops into your head at the time is quite entertaining sir! I encourage you to continue this course of action.

Picture of the Swan is like a painting, I like it very much.. you did well with the gulls, may be one of them is called “Jonathan”..(If you have seen the film, uou will understand!). Love the twin motorcycles.
We don’t need titles to appreciate a picture, but I’ll bet that is you try, you will do it.
