Thanks, Mel. Working with the extension tubes on the macro lens doesn’t give very much depth of field, so focus has to be very selective. It’s an advantage and disadvantage at the same time.
I like shallow depth of field in other photographer’s work, but have a hard time liking it when I do macro work. I tried focus stacking the other day, with limited success. Very, very limited success.
I like all of the tulip shots, but this one is my favorite; I like the change in focus (literally and figuratively).
