Thanks, Earl. If it’s possible for a day to be sunny and cloudy at the same time, you’ll see it in Webster. Still, don’t put it on your bucket list. I am enjoying the shots from your recent vacation but have been pressed for time to comment.
It’s not so bad, Paul. We still have a place that sells “The World’s Greatest Cheeseburger” and Abbott’s custard (though I seldom go to either place). But there’s not a week that goes by that I don’t visit the park.
I don’t visit those places much either, Ken. The older I get, the less my system seems to tolerate that stuff. But like you, I do tend to spend a little time in Webster Park. I was down there last week (during a storm) trying to catch a waterspout. Unfortunately, the only thing I managed to “catch” was a downpour. Good thing my camera is weather sealed……..
I can honestly say I’ve never picked up a refrigerator, nor do I know anyone who has. At least not alone. But I think I would have a lot of respect for someone who can pick up one.
🙂
I love the way those white clouds on the horizon are sandwiched between the dark clouds and the highway. What a terrific black and white image!
Thanks, Anita. Even the clouds are special in Webster.
Not much traffic on “the road out of Webster.” No doubt because no one wants to leave “the place where life is worth living.”
Nice black and white “low ceiling” in that sky.

I like the feeling of your overcast day!
Thanks, John. This was dramatic, even for us.
What a cloud deck! I love road shots, particularly when they are not cluttered with cars and trucks. 🙂
Thanks, Jimi. I was impressed with the clouds we have been having this summer and it would be a shame not to get a few shots.
That picture is fantastic Ken, I like this shot very much.
Thanks, Chantal.
Ah, the road out. The only one worth being on if you happen to be a Webster “inmate”……..

How’s the fridge working out?
I like the combination of simultaneous sun and cloud – we get lots of that too.

When I was dating, I never even once tried to pick up a fridge. I was not cool enough for those bars.
