There is a small channel that connects Lake Ontario with Irondequoit Bay and there is a swing bridge that allows traffic to pass over the channel. These orange markers are placed along the bridge as a warning to small craft going through the channel. The walkway is reflected in the water and the early morning light struck it just right.
Wonderful trio, Ken. The orange and blue in the first one are fav.
Thanks, Harri. I should get over to the other side of the outlet some day.
I really love the first shot, the orange and the reflection on the waves does give a special finish to the scene
Thanks, Nelson. That’s one of my favorites also.
The first two are stunning the second just edges it though, they would look superb as wall art
Thanks, sp. I’m thinking of having one from this series printed on a large scale just out of curiosity.
Very nice group, Ken. I’m especially partial to the simplicity of the second one.
Thanks, Tom. That was shot with my seldom used 70-300 mm. It’s really a nice lens and I think I might be using it more.
The reflections appear to be splashes. Great contrast of light/dark as well as the bold orange against the black with a dash of blue thrown in for good measure!
Thanks, Paul. I did like the color combinations and the patterns in this. I went to shoot the ducks but this was even better.
Very nice indeed, Ken. Lovely reflections.
