when i look out my window…

what do you think i see?  Sorry, I couldn’t resist a line from an old Donovan song.  But I do have a window that sometimes gets condensation on it in the winter.  I miss the view but the light is still nice and the condensation can be very interesting.  Could be the start of a new series; cosmic condensation!

I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately about the newest gravatar on this site and on Facebook. You would be correct in assuming it is not a self portrait but actually a photo of our dear friend GORT.  He came to visit last year and allowed this photo to be taken.

He had to stay elsewhere during his visit because he kept hitting his head on the ceiling, even in his bedroom slippers he stands over 8 feet (2.44 meters) tall.  I have no idea how old he is but he seems ageless.  There’s not a line on his face.  I would ask him but he would just stare back at me.  You don’t want him to stare at you.

He’s back patrolling the universe so who knows when he’ll visit again.  Soon, I hope.
