Thanks, Linda. There is not much I could do about the background. Since these things only grow where there is water nearby there are a lot of reeds and weeds surrounding them. For this shot I de-saturated the green color since it didn’t affect the milkweed. The green was too vivid and overpowered the subject which is pretty neutral in color.
That’s just great! Now Canadians are taking American nightcrawler’s jobs.

I appreciate the background on your milkweed shot. I never seem to find the right one. Uh, the milkweed itself is nicely shot and processed, too!
