Sometimes the light and shadows can be just as interesting as the subject. The light shines through the grill of this classic car because the hood was open.
Thanks, Howard, but I’m sure you would have seen this with your sharp eye. I only attend these shows because I love to see these old cars and to photograph them.
Thanks, E. It’s impossible to get a good shot of the entire car so Iconcentrate on the details. It’s an interesting challenge and some days I don’t get any shots I like. I don’t like the hood up since in breaks up the lines but many of the owners want to show off what’s under there.
Really lovely interplay of light and shadow. Great the you were able to “see” this. Most, myself included, probably would have walked right by!

Love the lines of your photograph, also the way the orange colors go with the bluish grey colors—and the shininess. Beautiful job, Ken.
You really do have an eye for shapes, lines, and light compositions. Very nice.

Bastards! . . . no consideration; no consideration at all!
Sometime the subject of a photo is the light and the shadow it creates
Thanks, Nelson. That’s exactly right.
Great find, Ken! I love the patterns of the shadows and light areas.
Thanks, Tom. This doesn’t happen very often, at least not for me, but I’m glad I got the shot.
I love that Ken!
Thanks, Chantal.
Great job on this one Ken
Thanks, John.
