Thanks, Howard. We may be in for a little relief this weekend when temperatures are predicted to go to 30 degrees. That would be the warmest we’ve had in weeks. The tulips came from Wegmans. $6!

A nice break from the cold. We even had a bit of snow last night. Not quite the State of Emergency level that the governor declared BEFORE the snow started to fall, but an inch or so. 🙂

We haven’t had any snowfall in 2 days but I think we will be paying for it in the next few days. That’s okay foe me since I don’t have plans for the weekend.

Thanks, Mel. O’Keefe has been an unintentional inspiration for the flower photos. I saw an exhibit of her work many years ago and it made a lasting impression.

love the first one… beautiful and delicate framing… these yellow tulips are like little sunshines, arent they 🙂
any chance the polar vortex is over soon?

Thanks, Alexandra. Yes, tulips are a sure sign of spring but the PV isn’t through with us yet. However, we may get our first day above freezing in weeks in the next few days. Still, we have close to 3 feet of snow on the ground so it really won’t be spring-like.
