Thanks, John. Occasionally I’ll soften it up further by pushind the clarity slider to the left and sharpen with the adjustment brush At the point of interest.
Very nice, Ken. I really like the color and the softness with the single point of focus.
Another good trick you might like is to paint over the entire photo with the adjustment brush at negative clarity then use to eraser tool to selectively brush the sharpness back in.
This one brightens my day! Lovely macro! Great work, my friend.
Thanks, Malin. I was afraid this might be too subtle.
I don’t think it is too subtle at all! I love images like this with very limited depth of field.
Thanks, Howard. I sometimes have a tendency to shoot wide open specifically for this kind of effect.
Very nice macro
Thanks, Nelson.
I’ve always enjoyed images with a bit of soft focus. Nice work, Ken.

Thanks, Tom. Ah, the reverse technique! I’ll have to try that. I’ve never used the eraser.
This is pretty cool, Ken. The soft focus works nicely here.
Thanks, Jimi. I wanted to isolate the tip of the green leaf and I thought the shallow dof would do it.
