I don’t use vignettes very often – when I try them, I almost always think they look too fake. But your photo is a good example of making them work to enhance the photo.
Would if I could, Paul. I’m not complaining about the rain, I like it. I planted a large area in the front and one in the back with grass and, for some reason, grass likes rain water better than tap water. Let it rain.
these are so beautiful ♥
Thanks, Alexandra.
Very cool textures…
Thanks, Barry. Textures provided by spring showers.
Wonderful tones and textures, Ken. Like these very much!
Thanks, Meanderer.
Wonderful images and I like the black and white conversion.
Thanks, Monte.
A couple of very nice images Ken.
Thanks, John.
These are both very nice; I especially like the vignette in the first one, which accents that leaf in a lovely way.
Thanks, Mel. The vignette doesn’t always work well for me so I’m glad you like it.

Very nice, Ken. I’d love to know how you trained those raindrops to line up like that! 😉
Thanks, Tom, but a magician never reveals his secrets.
These are gorgeous…and really just perfect in black and white! Very nice series. I wonder what the prior post would look like in black and white?
Thanks, Howard. Because the photos in the previous post were predominately green also, they look very nice in black and white.. Food for another post!
There’s something especially enticing about water drops isn’t there. Beautifully done, Ken.
Thanks, Earl. Not only are the drops a nice addition but I also like the even light you get in the rain.
Very nice, Ken. Now, can you send a bit of that rain this way? Not as much as they got in Texas, though. Somewhat less! 😀
