And the name of the State where I live…Victoria, in southern Australia! ❤
Are you gonna tell us the brand, ken-ji? I think if 'Victoria' had been available to us then, it would have sold out very quickly, with more back orders in the pipeline.
It’s a Ford Crown Victoria from the mid 1950s. For many years it was the top model that Ford made. They still make the “Crown Vic”, but it’s mostly sold as police cruisers.
Love how the shape of the chrome complements the letters. Great shot. You ought to put these together as a portfolio of some sort. LensWork is now douing color you know 🙂
The Crown Vic is a real classic, Ken. You don’t see too many in red. My Dad had a black and white one when I was born. Or maybe the pictures were just in black and white. 😉
That’s some kind of flashy elegance you’ve captured there.
Thanks, Ash. The ’50s were all about flash.
Very elegant, Victoria has nice curves, but I can’t quite get my head around giving a car a girl’s name
Better than “Bob”… (:
Yes, I admit better than Bob. Sorry to anyone called Bob who might be reading this.
HA!
A queen no less!

Anything super-fast, such as a police car, would appeal to the bogans in our society, definitely! ‘Victoria’ would have been a hit… 😉
The new cars are fast but they have a bit of a weight problem.
hahaha… 😉

Thanks, Howard. I will definitely check out LensWork. I am thinking of a photo book of these old cars. Maybe that will be my annual gift book.
That would be great…..the photo book. I would buy one for sure!
I second what Howard says! All of it.
Thanks, Linda. That’s just the incentive I need.
So, only two arms and one watch.
Everything else is in the backpack.

It was whatever you remember it to be, Tom.
