Sooner or later falls apart …Paul Simon
Paul was referring to my computer in that song. Also my water heater. Both died within minuets of each other. That was Friday, 9/11/15. The good news is that the water heater was replaced the following Monday. Bad news is it’s going to be a while before a new computer arrives and even longer to set up. Weeks! But I’m determined to keep my usual twice weekly posts here and our sister blog using whatever means possible. This week there are shots made with the Samsung 7 inch tablet and posted on an Acer Chromebook for your amusement. I hope you like photos of cats.
Red and black seem to be the favorite colors for classic cars. The 1959 Fairlane below combines both colors. The owner of this one told me that he bought a ’59 Fairlane exactly like this one in 1959 but had to sell it 2 years later. He said he’d been looking for one just like it for 20 years before he bought this low mileage one.

The Kent Park Arboretum is not far from my house and I usually go there to shoot flowers whenever I have the chance. It’s a beautiful little park and most of the garden maintenance is done by volunteers who do an excellent job and are very knowledgeable. The photo below was also shot at the arboretum.
The volunteer told me that when the birds inside start flapping their wings that the birdhouse actually becomes airborne. True story!
