Nik Collection (now free)

If you haven’t heard already, Google is now offering the entire Nik Collection of plugins available to all for free.  Follow this link to download the entire suite.  If you’re not familiar with it, the collection is a valuable package that works well independently and in conjunction with Lightroom and Photoshop.  If you paid for the suite in the last 3 months Google is offering a full refund.  Not only is the suite a creative tool but it’s fun, too.

Thanks, Andy. I’ve not tried all of the plugins in the suite but I had some experience with Silver Efix and the HDR ones but I assume that they are of very high quality. I don’t think they have been updated in years but at this price they’re a good value.

I’ve used Nik quite a lot … for my iPhone, I use the Snapseed app, by Google, which is one of the better phone editing apps, IMHO.

Thanks, Linda. The first shot had no plugin post processing but I think there is one part of the suite that has some nice enhancements. The second shot was just one click away with very little tweaking.
