So subtle and yet so effective – I’ve never thought of photographing the preparation of food. But then as I am instructed to stay out of the kitchen, because I am likely to create a complete mess, what goes on in the kitchen remains a mystery.
Thanks, Linda. Sometimes I get inspiration at the worst times. I had to shoot this before I put it on my burger. It drives others nuts but I have no discipline.
Thanks, Ash. For some reason, I’ve been fascinated with onions for quite a while. I should try to get all of my onions shots together for a post. A good winter project.
My holiday book is finished and was delivered today! I know it’s difficult to distribute the printed book to everyone I would like to receive it so I’m looking into a way to publish it as a PDF. There is a way to make a publishable PDF in Lightroom so I’m going to give that a try first. I also have a program for making PDF files which I have been using for other purposes but I might try it for photos too. If I were to make the first publishable e-book I’d like to make it available to the photographers I respect and admire (of which you are one). Another one of my winter projects. I love winter!
Very nice.
Thanks, .E.
The essential union shot; great
Thanks, Harri. Probably the most photogenic vegetable of all.

Thanks, Andy. Everyone in my family loves to cook so the only mystery for me is how they get the pimento inside the olive.
Another one of your photographs that first of all draws from me “Ohhhhhhh!” Beautiful. Love the colors. And the lines. And the close-upness.

And how glad we are about that.
Oh, I think that means you have a lot of discipline
Thanks, Ash. I’ll take that as a compliment!
Great abstract! I’m loving this veggie series. I find myself wondering how this one would look in black and white to go with the last pumpkin one ?
Thanks, Howard. I was wondering the exact same thing!
Best looking onion I ever saw.

That sounds good. My current thing is shopping trolleys/carts.
Are you doing your book again this year?

Well done, you! And thanks for all the kind words. I live winter too. The hot and humid summer is just beginning here. . .
Definitely a lady, that onion….
Always a lady!
