Due to the intolerable weather we have been having, I have decided to cancel the entire month of March next year. Also canceled are the last two weeks of February and the first two weeks of April, just to be sure. We will make up the time in June and September. O out.
That is a great idea.Sis
Your welcome.
That’s a lot of snow! I do love that first image and the way the weather is framed!
Thanks, Meanderer. And that’s a second-floor window!
Wow – second floor? We haven’t had snow here for a few years. Looks like it’s all been unloaded your way 🙂
Well, to be perfectly honest, it is a second-floor window but it’s just snow stuck to the screen. Busted!
Ha! It’s still a lot more in one season than I’ve seen in years 🙂
Now that’s a plan I can live with!!!!
Cool shots
Thanks, Howard. I should mention that the first two weeks of February are in jeopardy, too.
As well they should be
Looking at photos 2, 3, and 4, I can understand you plans. But photo 1 is so nice! You’ll never get anything like that again. How about an exemption from the ban now and then?
Thanks, Linda, but no way. If this was just an occasional storm I might let it pass but there comes a time when people have to come together and yell, at the top of their lungs, “ENOUGH!”
Excellent idea. I’m with Linda though, I love that first photo, but I also remember living in NY and getting hit, some winters, time after time with snowstorm after snowstorm, and boy did that get old.
Thanks, Lynn. It can get old. I have many friends that spend their winters in warmer areas of the country but I’m not one of them. I grew to like winter. I like the hibernating. I like the idea that I can enjoy spending time inside working on projects. I like long nights. I lived over a year in Thule, Greenland and I didn’t mind it. And my winter clothes are a lot nicer than my summer clothes.
