Thanks, Ash. I seldom do any alterations to the colors of these cars. Some owners will spend almost a years salary (my salary, anyway) just on the paint job.
Thanks, Lynn. I have a confession: I use the same “seeing red” post title for all the car photos even if there are no red car photos. I’m too lazy to think up new titles each time so I just change the number.
Love that little reminder in the headlight of the top photograph that this is not a black and white shot. What lovely greys you’ve captured.
Thanks, Linda. Te owner calls the color “Battleship Gray” and it probably cost as much to paint the car as a battleship. Maybe more.
I love these detail shots. And they have a certain softness that goes really well with the vintage nature of the cars! Really love them.
Thanks, Howard. The softness is achieved by lowering the clarity in LR and using the adjustment brush to bring it back locally.
They don’t make cars like this nowadays – the detailing is exquisite. The wiring to the headlight for example. What a joy to see a car like this.
Thanks, Andy. I agree. There’s some beautiful detailing on this one. I hope to see it again this summer.
Very nice, Ken. I really like that you kept these in colour.

Those details reflect a high level of craftsmanship. You just don’t see that on newer cars. You’ve done a nice job capturing them.
Thanks, Tom. It’s impressive that theses cars have looked so good for so long. It’s all about love.
Had to look hard for the red, but I found it. Gorgeous car, lovely images.
