Thanks, Howard. I started this post title in my old blog years ago when I noticed that there seems to be a very high percentage of red cars at these shows. I’m too lazy to change it even if there aren’t any red cars in the photos.
i doubt if any car had that combination from the factory. Many of these cars are not “restored” to look exactly as they came from the factory so the owners can paint them any way they want. The owner of that Chevy told me he bought the car new!
Excellent.
Thanks, rabirius!
Thanks, Rabirius.
I truly miss cars like these. Even though I am only 62, I remember a few growing up.
Thanks, Barry. Come to Webster (where life is worth living) on any Friday night (weather permitting) during the Summer. You won’t be disappointed.
I miss them too, Barry. Give me a car with fins any day!
Now I’m really Seeing Red….super shots

Hey, nobody can argue with red!
Don’t stop seeing Red, Ken. Fire Engine Red – always a good colour.
Thanks, Andy. Red is probably the most common color for these classic cars. The most common colors of new cars is white and silver. Go figure.
Or Black – certainly over here in the UK. All very unoriginal.
You’ve made me wonder if there was ever a two-tone car with red and orange as the two colors.

Imagine having a car for six decades!
