Thanks, Linda. I had another project (long ago) of photographing flowers at all stages of life. I’ve had the final shot hanging in my office for the last twenty years.
Whew! I’m not alone in my fascination with flowers at the end of their lives. Hmmm. Wonder if it has anything to do, in my case, with my advanced years? Nah!
Ken, these are gorgeous. Your work always amazes me. You have inspired me—not to attempt similar photos, but to keep finding beauty in all around me.
Thanks, AJ. I have to admit that when I started taking photos of flowers in decay (many years ago) that it may have been a strange fascination. Now I don’t think that it’s strange at all. Maybe it’s because I’ve gotten older, too, and I see beauty everywhere
Nature is the perfect artist.
Can’t argue with you there, Barry.
Dear old flower. Thank you for presenting her so beautifully.

Beauty in the end
Thanks, Howard. That beauty is all around us just waiting to be photographed.

And you capture it so beautifully.
