Among the wonderful things available to folks living in Webster (Where life is worth living) is the abundance of weeds.  You don’t have to go far to find a wide variety of them, especially in my backyard, which I have made a sanctuary yard for weeds.  Occasionally, when they achieve a hight of 2 feet or more, I pull them out (like this guy) but I generally replant them in my neighbor’s yard.  He seems to enjoy them as much as I do.

and I like this guy because he can do this.

I like to stack rocks.  Fortunately, I have a lot of rocks and I’ve stacked many of them.  Some stay up for only a short while but others stay up for months.  The one above is in the farthest corner of the backyard.  The little stone on top gets knocked off once a week by birds.  I know the birds do it because they leave their calling card.  I had to wait for the snow to melt before I found it again.

By the time anyone views this all of the cairns will be under a foot (or more) of snow.

We visited the Botanical Gardens near Niagra Falls last spring.  The Gardens are on the Canadian side of the Falls, so you may need to bring a valid ID (if you aren’t Canadian). At the gardens, we went to the Butterfly Conservatory there.  If you like butterflies, this is an amazing place.
