Thanks, Howard. The first photo is a composite of two images. I thought it might look good with the “black and gray” preset that I made a while back. The “black and gray” effect is done using the Curves adjustment in LR, btw.
The branch and limb studies are growing. These are really nicely done, and I hope you’ll put all the branch/limb photos, maybe along with some of the trees, together at some point.
Thanks, Lynn. I’m planning at least 2 additional pages I will add: one is the pen-and-ink page (which is almost ready) and a second page with other tree-related studies. I like the idea of separate pages for subjects with related content as I think they are fairly easy to create and easy to browse through a large group of photos.
How prophetic of them to name it thus . . .
