. . . it kind of reminds me of eczema . . . I could be wrong; it could also be an octopus.
I’m glad the guy’s doing well and hope nothing goes wrong for him.
There are not many octopuses at Webster (Where life is worth living) Beach but it could be eczema. Let me go check the metadata…

Thanks, Lynn. This is a shot straight out of the camera of very thin ice on the bay water. You can see the water under the ice but I did remove the greenish tint in the water.
