Thanks, Anita. I’ve seen this young man practicing at this same site several times and he just seems to be getting better each time I see him. The setting is on the shore of the lake, not far from my house.
Hey Ken, I am still blogging! Both Visual History and Visual Notebook. Visual Notebook is now under my website – just choose Blogs and there it is! http://johnstrongarts.com.
This photo has a real feeling of solitude to it, Ken. At least the way I’m seeing it. The idea of the juggler finding a nice quiet spot to hone his craft.
Thanks, Tom. Although the photo does have that feeling of solitude, this guy can draw quite a crowd when he’s practicing. I have tried to isolate him from the fans though because I thought it made a better photo.
Thanks, John. I admire anyone with this skill. This guy is pretty good. I’ve been coming here for about 3 years and have seen him often during that time.
Judging by the height of that toss, this guy looks serious. Love the setting.

Does he know there’s a bowling pin heading for his head? Nice timing, Ken.
Thanks, John. Yeah, he knows.

Well caught, Ken. The perfect moment and almost a Zen moment too. Something so special about this whole view and the frozen pin.
Thanks, Andy. I’m generally not very good at catching action, but this is a lucky shot.
Very good setting Ken and this man is seriously entertaining..
Thanks, Chantal. I watched him for about half an hour without taking photos. He’s highly entertaining.
