It’s 17° (F) as I write this so we are still quite frozen here. There is some relief in sight this week but unless we get a week of constant 70° (F) temperatures we won’t see the ground for a while. Fortunately, I remain interested in ice.

Such a wonderful image, Ken!
It’s 37.4 (F) as I write this… and the hazel is blooming over here, so there’s hope.
A warm hug for you!!
Thank you for the compliment and the hug. Presently, we are halfway through our predicted 6 more inches of snow. It’s too deep to walk on unless you have snowshoes.
Shhhh…don’t tell anybody. Let us think you braved the elements for your art. Well you did really go out even though this one was indoors. I decided to try to brave the cold last Sunday but gave up when my car started slipping and sliding on the ice and snow as I drove down my street!
Not sure quite how these shapes have been formed, but that doesn’t matter at all. A great abstract image that suggests, but provides no answers. It’s warming up over here and Spring seems close – wish I could send some your way, Ken.

Very cool image. looks like Mercury 🙂
Or a T1000!
“So do I” (…remain interested in ice.). Nice picture.
Thanks, Fran. It ain’t going anywhere soon.
It’s not often one captures a frozen alien . . . is it in carbonite?
Not Carbonite, High Fructose Corn Syrup!
. . . the only way to go . . .
Very cool abstract, I really like it. Snowing here as well. Kudos for going out in it all for the photo!!!
Thanks, Howard. I did go out to shoot but was very disappointed with the files. I shot this indoors as a camera test.

We had out first day above freezing today, even if it was only for a few hours. It’s very reassuring if you’re optomistic (which I am).
